by Samantha O’Rourke Cleaners is a theatrical immersive journey through the words and stories of cleaners living and working in Wales. The performance will take place in an office block and audiences will join the cleaners on the ‘night shift.’ A sort of magical dusk between fiction and reality. A Night in the Clink is set in the Clink restaurant at HMP Cardiff. Three men, who are coming to the end of their prison sentence, cook and serve the audience their supper whilst sharing their stories and the dreams they have for their lives upon release.
